FAPSC Membership Provides:

Networking and career opportunities: You will have the chance to meet owners, administrators and educators who are leaders in career education.

Scholarship Program: Member institutions have the option to participate in program offering one or more full tuition, $5,000 or $1,000 non-cash tuition scholarships to their institutions to graduating high school seniors within the state. 

Professional Development: Offering discounts on Continuing Education workshops, Central Florida Conference and to our Annual Conference/ Tradeshow that serve both administrators and faculty. Learn about the newest and most innovative products and services; attend exceptional education programs, network; and share ideas with your colleagues.

FAPSC now offers online training! As an added benefit FAPSC members receive special pricing.

Volunteering: FAPSC members are encouraged to volunteer and serve on a committee which in result will reshape the organization.  Their are a variety of committee available, Awards, Continuing Education/Conference, Legislative, Member Services, Public Relations, and  Scholarship committee. 

Legislative & Regulatory Representation: FAPSC represents the interests of our sector before the legislature, Governors Office, State Department of Education and CIE and participation in FAPSCday.

Guidance on Licensure & Accreditation: FAPSC is the most comprehensive resource for information on becoming licensed, renewing your license through the Commission for Independent Education and on seeking accreditation for your institution.

FAPSC website: Serves you 24/7 with access to what you need to know.

Communications: Receive regular communiqué about upcoming workshops, legislative actions, important news, announcements concerning our sector and other industry issued from leaders in the field.

FAPSC also provides representation at the National level through our Executive Director serving as State Affairs Council Coordinator.



Apply for Membership

FAPSC offers three types of membership school, professional and associate.  Each type is explained below.

School membership is open to any independent postsecondary school or college licensed by the Commission for Independent Education to operate in the State of Florida.  To be considered for membership please submit a school membership application and remit to FAPSC along with a copy of your license, most current school catalog, a copy of accreditation certifications, if applicable and dues payment. Once all information has been obtained by the FAPSC office your school will be placed on membership docket at the next scheduled board meeting.  School membership is by campus.  If your school has multiple campuses and you wish for all of them to be considered for membership, please remit an application for each campus.  View a complete listing of FAPSC membership benefits .

FAPSC Professional membership is open to any individual administrator or faculty member currently employed at a FAPSC member institution.

FAPSC Associate membership is for an individual company, association or government agency providing support, products or services to the independent postsecondary educational sector.  All applicants for Associate membership must also be approved by the FAPSC Board of Directors.
