Spotlight on our Community Outreach Facilitators

Linda Weldon - SVP of Government & Community Affairs for Ultimate Medical Academy in the Tampa Bay Area.
Ms. Weldon served as UMA’s liaison with national (APSCU) and state (FAPSC) industry associations. In that capacity she often met with legislators in both Washington and Tallahassee sharing with them the story of UMA and its students. She served on the legislative, membership and APSCUPAC committees with APSCU; is immediate Past President of FAPSC and remains on that board. She coordinated UMA’s community events with All Children’s Hospital, The Making Strides Breast Cancer Annual Walk, The Pack A Snack Program to provide fresh produce to four Title One Elementary School free lunch programs in Pinellas County, as well as Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA) in St. Petersburg and The Spring in Tampa to name a few. She continues to serve UMA in an advisory capacity.

Ms. Weldon has more than 35 years experience in proprietary education.
he has extensive experience in curriculum design and development. Her accreditation experience includes working with ACICS, ACCSC, ABHES, CAAHEP (ARC-ST & CoARC), FIDER, and the Board of Nursing in Florida and California. She holds an MA in Educational Administration from California State University, Sacramento and a BS in Business Administration from Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State University).

 

Staceyann Sinclair - Campus Director,  Rasmussen College, Tampa
Ms. Sinclair is responsible for bringing the College’s mission, values and traditions to life for students. She is an active community member, bringing her leadership and marketing skills to organizations including the Florida Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Tampa Bay Higher Education
Alliance, Florida Association of Post-Secondary Schools & Colleges, and the Johnson & Wales University Alumni Association. She has been recognized for her academic and civic accomplishments by DECA, the Greater Tampa Women of Influence Committee, local chambers of commerce and the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Staceyann graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of marketing degree from Johnson & Wales University and earned a masters degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
