FAPSC Plus2:

A new tool for member schools to bring the knowledge and experience of those who have learned the hard way directly to your computer or phone. It is FAPSC "Plus" because it is an added value to your membership. It is "squared" because the videos are both informative and instructive.

Please, gather your leadership team together and watch these short videos about building a great school by doing things the right way.

FAPSC wil be offering the videos on a linked portal in the future, but for now please access them through the FAPSC website.A new video will be available approximately once each month.

Dr. Joseph Pace

Joe Pace entered the field as Director of Student Personnel Services, Admissions and Instructor at Jamestown Business College, Jamestown NY in 1969.  He moved to Florida in 1973.  After a year at Ft. Lauderdale University as Director of Student and Alumni Affairs and Instructor, he began his tenure at Prospect Hall College where he remained for the next 15 years as President and then Chairman of the Board and CEO.

During that time, Dr. Pace was appointed by the Governor to the Florida State Department of Education’s nine-member Commission for Independent Education (CIE), serving for ten years, and elected chairman twice. 

He was an active member of FAPSC, serving on the board for almost twenty years (President from ‘88-‘90).  During his time on the board, he was instrumental in founding the FAPSC Institute for Educational Excellence for Administration and Faculty. 

On a national level, Joe served as Commissioner of the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and was also on the APSCU Board from ’89-’91.

In the midst all of that activity, he somehow managed to complete a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. 

Dr. Joe Pace is an internationally recognized performance psychologist educator, speaker and author.  He presents seminars and workshops in the areas of student retention, faculty development, corporate cultural alignment, and personal and professional achievement.  His background in teaching, psychology, and business aids him to deliver research-based information to a global audience from students and faculty, to corporate executives.

He, along with The Pacific Institute Founder Lou Tice, are the authors of the best selling textbook, Thought Patterns for a Successful Career, used by more than one million students in over one thousand Colleges and Schools world-wide.  Additionally, he has authored four textbooks on professional development, designed for college students about to enter the workforce.

Currently, Dr. Pace serves as Chairman of the Board-Global Education, for the Pacific Institute and is an educational and psychological consultant for numerous colleges and organizations throughout the United States and Canada.
