FAPSC is always in need of volunteers to carry out the association's strategic plan. FAPSC has committees that plan and organize a range of educational programs, events, and industry and professional development activities for our members. TA volunteer must be an employee of a member school or Associate Member institution.  Committees meet via conference and or in conjunction with the FAPSC board meetings.

Members interested in serving on one of the committees below can contact the FAPSC staff coordinator for more information, complete the form at the bottom of the page, or print the committee sign-up form and send it in.  Just click on the name of the staff coordinator.


Bylaws Committee

This committee oversees revisions to the FAPSC Bylaws.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee coordinates the FAPSC communications plan; in general, this plan includes social media, website, and communication efforts associated with employer relations. The Communications Committee is tasked with promoting the private career college sector to policy makers, employers, educators, students and potential students.  The committee is responsible for the ongoing production and dissemination of messaging.

Continuing Education Committee

The Continuing Education Committee is responsible for FAPSC conferences and workshops that offer continuing education credit and professional development.  In addition, the committee is responsible for offering a full array of educational courses on-line for the convenience of member and non-member schools. Includes: Annual Conference, Faculty Conferences, FAPSC Plus2, Online Training Center, Nursing Workshop

Legislative Committee

The core of this committee is the legislative call group, but may be supplemented by leaders who understand and can contribute to the legislative responsibilities of the FAPSC Board of Directors. The committee develops the FAPSC Legislative Agenda and assists in making decisions about policy direction during the Legislative session. Includes: FAPSC Day (Hill Day), Election Updates, PAC and expenditure of PAC funds

Member Services Committee

The Member Services Committee is the recruitment arm of FAPSC and the source of ideas to better serve the schools in our sector and to assist them in their educational missions.  The Committee is responsible for implementing and monitoring our affinity agreements. Includes: Recruitment and renewal, Mentorship Program, Member Benefits, Annual Awards (subcommittee).

PAC Board      

The Political Action Committee Board recruits participants in the PAC to support those critical policy makers who are friends of our students.
